Vegan Cocoa Coffee Cake
Making a dairy free / vegan cake was only a daydream at least until I stumbled upon this recipe at millettable.com. All credits to this recipe go to the original author of the recipe. I have included this in my website as a reference only and also to create awareness that one could make yummy desserts using millets.
Desika Products Used:
Bajri Flower, Jaggery Powder
Ingredients:
Bajra Flour - 3/4 cup Bajra Flour
Jaggery Powder - 3/4 cup
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder - 2 Tbsp
Coffee Powder - 1 Tbsp
Apple Cider Vinegar - 1.5 Tbsp
Flax Seed Powder - 1 Tbsp
Water - 2 Tbsp
Baking Soda - 1/2 Tsp
Baking Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Almonds - I used 1/4 cup chopped almonds

Tips & Tricks:
I added little bit more jaggery and made it as 3/4 cup instead of 1/2 cup recommended, as my family likes it little sweeter when it comes to coffee cake.
